    Table of Contents

The Table of Contents (TOC) helps you easily navigate through the sections of your note.

How to Use the Table of Contents

    1. Open a Desired Note: Navigate to the note you'd like to view.
    2. Ensure the Right Sidebar is Open: If the sidebar isn't visible, click the sidebar button at the top right corner of your screen to open it.
    3. View the Table of Contents: Once the sidebar is open, you will see the TOC with all the headings in your note.
    4. Automatic Updates: As you edit your note, the TOC will automatically update to reflect any new or modified headings.

Features of the Table of Contents

    • Click to Navigate: Clicking on a heading in the TOC will scroll you directly to that section in the note.
    • Heading Indentation: Headings will be indented based on their level. For example:
      • h1 (main heading) will be at the top level.
      • h2 (subheading) will be indented under the main heading.
      • Further levels will continue to be indented according to their hierarchy.

For a more efficient note-taking experience, the Table of Contents helps you keep track of all sections and navigate between them easily as you work.
